Rules:
1. Participants are required to register for Nvidia's GTC 2023 Conference using our link and attend one of the conferences from 20 to 23 March. (By doing this you will become part of this competition and also get a chance to win a brand new 3080 TI Graphics Card)
2. Participants are required to Download and process the Video of 10 shots being played on a pool table.
3. The task is to predict the path of the ball being hit and to predict whether it will go in the pocket or not. (examples images shown below)
4. The Prediction should be made before the cue ball (White) touches the other ball. After the hit, the prediction should remain steady both for the path the ball will follow and the prediction of whether the ball will go in the pocket or not.
5. There are no restrictions on what type of Image Processing, Machine Learning or Deep Learning algorithm is used to achieve the optimum results.
6. The processed footage must contain the predicted path of the ball being hit and the prediction of whether the ball will go in the pocket or not.
7. During Submission participants must submit the video of their result as a YouTube link along with their code hosted on GitHub. They must also add a description of the project explaining what methods were used. (Submissions without YouTube, GitHub link or Description will not be accepted).
8. Once your submission is approved share it on your social media platforms. (User registration is not required to vote)
9. The Winner will be decided based on 50% Vote by the community and 50% by the judges. The top 10 section only displays the top ten with the highest votes i.e. it does not account the judges decision. On the completion of the contest, the judges will review all the submissions and place their votes. The winners will be announced once the judges have placed in their votes.
